EMBROIDERING A CACTUS
|
Reflection:
This project was quite the undertaking. It was definitely doable, but man did it take a lot of time and thinking to film and edit separate clips and photos together to create a cohesive, short video about something that took me a solid 2-3 hours to do. It taught me that it takes patience to gather all of the source material before putting it all together in editing software. I learned its important to shoot things more than once, and to use your phone as the initial sound muter and clip length editor, and its all the more important to label each clip so you know what order everything goes in. By having it all prepped, its so much more straightforward to upload to the computer and piece together from there. Makes the process a load less daunting. With the practice of video editing already in this class, it really gave me a good foundation to work from for this project, and it saved me plenty of growing pains for before I attempted this project. Overall, I'm satisfied with the result, and I think it could possibly pass as a trendy youtube DIY tutorial, but without the clickbait. |
